CRICKET PLAYER | IRELAND & CLUBS AROUND THE WORLD | BATSMAN & WICKETKEEPER
A native of Sandymount in Dublin, Niall has played cricket just about everywhere and his experience and knowledge of the game is exemplary.
He spent 14 years playing county cricket for Kent Northants and Leicestershire, and 4 winters spent in Sydney at a young age toughened him up and made him the forceful character he is on the field today. He has played in the first Indian cricket league, in the Bangladesh premier league, and in Australia. He made his One Day International debut for Ireland in 2006 and two years later he played his first Twenty20 International. He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Ireland’s first ever Test match, against Pakistan, in May 2018 and has also played in overseas twenty20 leagues. He has also coached in Australia.
Niall debuted in 2002 and after a long and distinguished career over 16 years, he now embarks on numerous new initiatives including after dinner speaking, sports agency work, media work (TV, radio, and authoring columns), and he is a level 3 qualified coach.
A lover of all sports especially his beloved Everton FC and Irish rugby and a truly engaging and fun character, any business that he helps will be sure to hit a Six!
Happiest when walking his dog on a beach.
