CROSSING THE LINE
AN INDEPENDENT & CONFIDENTIAL RESOURCE FOR ATHLETES, CURRENT AND FORMER
Founded by three-time Irish Olympic rower and former World Champion, Gearoid Towey, Crossing the Line (CTL) is headquartered in Sydney, Australia, and offers a confidential service where the sporting community can share their stories and receive expert advice and information on mental health, wellbeing, education and transitioning to life after sport.
CTL deliver webinars, workshops, seminars and longer-term programs to individuals, teams and sporting organisations, to empower athletes to become more self-aware, resilient and well-balanced across all areas of their lives. This includes working with schools and academies to educate and support young athletes, and with the LGBTIQ community to help make sport a safer and more inclusive place for all.
CTL also integrate general psychology and holistic personal development in one-on-one sessions, to support athletes at a deeper, more robust level and to help them transition successfully to life after sport.
The service is run by athletes, for anyone who has chased a sporting or performance dream, no matter what level they have attained. Because a sorted human being makes a formidable performer, during and after sport.
