Seán Perry is a vastly experienced broadcaster having started his career as a news journalist before finding his niche as a sports commentator.

From Ireland, he is a regular voice on national broadcaster, RTÉ as well as providing live sports commentary for BBC Northern Ireland. Seán is equally comfortable on television or radio and to date, his focus has been Ireland’s national sport, Gaelic Games which has recently enjoyed exposure to much larger audiences as a result of a rights deal with Sky.

Beginning his career with local radio in the 1990s, Seán has experienced and reported many of the typical quirky stories that go with local radio from covering regional “tug o’war” championships on a payphone and running out of coins to interviewing rally champions on the roof of the winning car while being sprayed in bubbly.

He is a very polished event MC and is extremely active on the corporate circuit in Ireland. His quick turn-of-phrase and ability to pluck the most outlandish question from nowhere have earned rave reviews from audiences and brought guests light years from their comfort zones.

He has previously worked with eir Sport. His media work aside, he is a director of a corporate communications agency in Dublin which specialises in media training and interview techniques for business CEOs, political leaders and of course, sports stars!
